Ronald R. Wolf

Ronald R. Wolf, 70, died peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at his home in Carthage.

He was born on April 18, 1955, in Denville, New Jersey, to the late Roger Andrew and Doris (Niederle) Wolf. He graduated from West Milford High School. Ron married Susan Martinson on September 28, 1974, in West Milford, NJ.

Ron retired in 2021 as a Machinist from the New York Airbrake in Watertown, NY.

He was an avid enthusiast of the outdoors, loving to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed building and riding his Harley-Davidsons and tinkering with cars and trucks. Ron was a very positive person who always smiled and was happy to lend a hand, who treasured the time spent with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Wolf, of Carthage; his sons, Chris (Felicia) Wolf of Maryland, and Gregory (Mandy) Wolf of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Ariana, Bailey, Mirela, and Mateo; and his sister, Judi Wolf of Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to the New York State Thompson Park Zoo, 1 Thompson Park, Watertown, NY 13601, in care of the “Wolf Exhibit.”

Per his wishes, his services will be held privately by his family.
