WEST CARTHAGE- Tamara L. “Tami” Lalone, who passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 31st, 2026, at the age of 77.
She was born on June 22, 1948, in Carthage, the daughter of the late William C. Canell, Sr., and Lorna J. (Christman) Canell. She graduated from school in Carthage in 1970. A devoted homemaker, but above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Amber L. Lalone, and her companion Tim Smith of Carthage, her stepchildren, Dustin D. (Pamela) Lackey of Monkton, VT and Erikson T. (Melanie) LaLone, Syracuse; her brother, Michael C. Canell, of Syracuse, and her two grandchildren, Tim & Joshua; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Tami is predeceased by her parents, her husband Gary W. Lalone, Sr., her brothers, William C. Canell, Jr., Harry M. Canell, and her son, Gary W. Lalone, Jr.
A Graveside service with a burial will take place in the spring at Fairview Cemetery in Carthage. Please note that there will be no calling hours.
