Rose LaLone Obituary
She was born in Norwalk on January 27, 1946 to the late Walter C. and Bonita R. (Myers) Franklin.
Rose was a former member of the V.F.W. Post 2529 Auxillary, Amvets Post 17 Auxillary, Orioles Club, Ohio State Chapter of Grandmother, where she was Chapter President and State Sentinel, and also the Athletic Club.
She is survived by her children, Autumn Simmon, Christine Chattin, Davida Richards, Barbara LaLone, Walter Richards and Kenneth Ridenour; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Gatha Fritz; brothers, Walter R. Franklin; and Ralph "Ed" Franklin; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Richards; second husband, Junior LaLone; parents, son, David Richards Jr.; grandson, Devin Richards; sisters, Carol Warnke, Frances Schacht and Jean Dougherty.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She will be buried in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be made to the family by visiting toftfuneralhome.com.
