Ronald C. Wolter of Waukesha went to his heavenly home on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the age of 90. He was born in Milwaukee on January 26, 1935, the son of Roy and Louise (nee Wittkopp) Wolter. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. On May 1, 1954 he married his precious wife Diane Rubel in Milwaukee and together they celebrated 71 years of marriage. Ron and his brother, Gary, founded Wolter Brothers Builders. Ron raised, trained and showed quarter horses and he enjoyed bowling, walking in the park, and was a big Packers, Brewers and Bucks fan. Most of all his children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Diane and their children, Brian (Bonnie) Wolter of North Carolina; Susan (Marty) Martinez of Waukesha; David Wolter of Elm Grove; and Lisa (Joe) Wolter-Kazlauskas of Florida; six grandchildren Beau (Margaret) Wolter, Kaley Wolter, Taylor Wolter, Jacob Chalmers, Serena Martinez and Emily Kazlauskas and four great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters Joan Schwamb of Milwaukee, Judy (Bill) Rawlins of West Bend, Gary (Marilee) Wolter of Florida and Dennis (Holly) Wolter of North Carolina, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Private entombment for the family will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
