Ronald G Woolley

Ronald G. Woolley, age 66, of Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, January 9th at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Ronald was born on July 1, 1958 in Trenton, New Jersey. He presided in Chesterfield but spent every summer down the shore in Lanoka Harbor. It was here he met his wife, Judith, and they would end up spending over 48 years together. They officially married on August 16th, 1986 and welcomed their daughter, Jessica, in October of 1991.
Ronald was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent most of his summers on the water. His winters were spent hunting at his beloved club, Park Rod & Gun. Ronald was committed to the club for his entire adult life, serving as the president for over 25 years.
Prior to his retirement, Ronald spent 42 years as a material inspector for the NJ Department of Transportation. He was a devoted employee that took great pride in his work. Throughout his many years in the department, he formed countless friendships with his colleagues that he maintained even after he retired in 2022. After his retirement, he continued to spend his time enjoying his love for the outdoors; whether it was fishing, hunting, or just walking anywhere that he could take in a view of the water.
Ronald is predeceased by his father, Conover Woolley Jr. He is survived by his wife, Judith Woolley, his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Matthew Uveges, his mother, Joyce Woolley, his brother William Woolley, and his sister, Susan Woolley. Ronald will be deeply missed by his family, neighbors, and a circle of close, lifelong friends.
A viewing will be held at Riggs Funeral home in Forked River, NJ on Tuesday, January 14th from 4pm – 7pm. Ronald made the heroic, selfless decision to be an organ donor. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Sharing Network in his memory.
