Ron Wozniak, age 85, passed away at home on December 7, 2025. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 5, 1940 and is preceded in death by his parents, Boleslaus and Dolores; and sister Barbara.
Ron is survived by his wife of 62 years Gail (Johnson); his two sons Todd (Sally) and Scott (Marna); grandchildren Stephen (29), Sarah (27) Murphy, Sawyer (21) and Grace (18); along with numerous family and friends.
Ron was an avid lover of the outdoors, a passion that started when he moved with his parents to Okauchee as a young boy. He was a star athlete on the Oconomowoc football team and if not for a severe shoulder injury, he may have continued to play later in life. Ron served in the Army after high school and became an expert marksman – further fueling his love of hunting and the outdoors. After serving his country, he settled back in Oconomowoc and married the love of his life Gail and began his career as a cement finisher until his retirement. His passion for fishing, hunting, scuba diving, and The Green Bay Packers embodied the life he led and the countless friends he made. Everyone that knew Ron could share a fishing story with or about him as he enjoyed catching any fish in any body of water. The Florida Keys, and the people he met there, were especially important to Ron up to the time of his passing.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the many family and friends for their unwavering support and compassion during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of your choice are welcome.
