He was born January 2, 1941, in Muncie, the son of James and Thelma (Hahn) Wright.
Ron graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1959 and served in the United States Army.
Mr. Wright was employed with Ontario Systems as a Machine Repairman for 14 years, and retired from Grede in New Castle.
Ron loved attending car shows every weekend, and his favorite event was the James Dean Festival and the Ducktail Run. Ron also enjoyed hanging out with his friends.
Ron is survived by three children, Jeff (Dorinda) Wright, and Ronald (Michelle) Wright, Jr., Kathy (Ric Oliver) Kennedy; brother, Jimmy Wright; sister Marsha Williams; grandchildren, Kalee (Jesse) Gerber, Kaitlyn Kennedy, Jacob Kennedy; great grandchildren, Blakely Gerber, Beckham Gerber, and Lottie King; and his best friends, Gary Smith, Charlie Wilson, Tony Young, and George South.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private Services will be held.
