Ronan Michael Hardin

Ronan Michael Joseph Hardin, affectionately known as "Roo," passed away on September 2, 2025, in Land O' Lakes, Florida. Born on November 23, 2022, Ronan brought immeasurable joy and light to those around him during his short but radiant life. From his first moments, Ronan captivated hearts with his gentle smile and expressive eyes. A Thanksgiving gift like no other, he was cuddly and full of life-fitting snugly in a Christmas stocking his first holiday season. As he grew, so did his bold personality, his affection, and his boundless curiosity. Ronan's energy was unmatched. Always in motion, he loved jumping on trampolines, racing around the kitchen island on his toy bike while shouting "3-2-1, go!" during MarioKart countdowns. His fascination with nature and space was remarkable-he could name all the planets in order and was especially captivated by Saturn's rings. Rainbows delighted him; he'd arrange toys in rainbow order across the floor. Green was his favorite color-a perfect match for a boy who loved trees and playing outdoors. Water brought him endless delight-from the ocean and fountains to garden hoses to even the dog's water bowl-and music made him dance with abandon. Whether headbanging to EDM with his mom or singing along to "Hot to Go" and "Please Please Please," Ronan's musical spirit shone brightly. He adored Cars and Tangled, quoting Lightning McQueen with a confident "Speed, I am speed." His love for others was just as vivid-expressed through forehead rubs, face squeezes, cupcake squishes for Grandma Jessica, and hand-fed snacks for "gugu" Bryan. Each night ended with him holding a loved one's hand. Ronan is survived by his mother, Alixandria Lee Hardin; father, Weston Perkins; grandparents Jessica Lee Hepburn, Bryan G. Hepburn, and Lynnette Marie Perkins; great-grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins Brecklynn Bemis, Dayton Bemis, Flynn Taylor and Ryder Kellogg; and many friends considered family. He was preceded in death by grandfather Roger Joseph Hardin; uncle Devin Michael Taylor; and cousin Braeden Wilkes. A visitation will be held Sunday, September 7, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., followed by a service at 3:00 p.m., at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
