Ronda Gail Misenheimer Phillips went to be with Jesus on November 12, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Westover

Ronda was born on September 4, 1949, in High Point, NC, to the late Ruth Esther Hill and Jesse
Dalton Misenheimer. She graduated from Ragsdale High School, Appalachian State University
with a BS Degree in Social Science/Sociology, and UNC-G with a Master of Education in
Counseling. Ronda was a retired middle school teacher and middle and high school guidance
counselor in Guilford County, encouraging many to be all they could be in life.
It was often said that Ronda was put here on earth to be a caregiver, and she cared for many
throughout her life. Above all, Ronda loved Jesus, her family, friends, church – helping all in any
way she could. She enjoyed family time, her friends, beach music, the ocean and beach, a good
book, most sports, and travel.
It was Ronda's desire that all people come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, asking for
forgiveness of sin and accepting that Jesus was God who paid the penalty for sin for all of us.
Having made this personal decision, the family is assured that she is with Jesus and many family
members in Heaven.
Ronda was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Charles and Gary, and sister Carol
Misenheimer. Those leU to cherish her memory include her husband of 51 years Gayle BenneZ
Phillips, daughter Sharon Phillips Hitchcock (Rick), and sons Craig Phillips (Rachel), and Warren
Phillps. She loved being "Mamaw" to her grandchildren Lindsey Moree MerriZ (Ben), Morgan
Phillips Hahl (Michael), Matthew Phillips, JustinPhillips, Jessica Phillps, Summer Hitchcock,
Sienna Hitchcock and great grandchildren Lillian, Evelyn, and Nolan Merrit. Other family

Misenheimer, and many friends she considered as family.
