Graveside services for Mrs. Ronda Darden Vicars, 63, of Laneville, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore. Interment will follow under the direction of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home.
Mrs. Vicars passed away August 19, 2024, in Dallas. She was born May 11, 1961, in Henderson to Truman F. and Mary (Clark) Forbus and was a lifelong resident of Rusk County. Ronda was a Registered Nurse and worked for Henderson Memorial Hospital for twelve years before becoming a Home Health nurse. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ronda also like to work in her flower beds and greatly enjoyed going hunting, including hunting trips to Oklahoma and Kansas. She was always ready to travel and particularly liked to go on cruises.
Ronda was preceded in death by her father, Truman F. Forbus, and her husband, Dennis Darden.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Vicars; mother, Mary Forbus; children, Kipp Cochran and wife Felicia, Chance Cochran and wife Amber Bird, Ashley Spencer and husband Coy, Terry Lee Vicars Jr.; brother, William Forbus and wife Lori; sisters, Linda Bridges and husband Rodney, Donna Cude and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Meyson, Cash, Zayne, Levi, Conrad, and River; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
