Ronnie Roderick Anderson

Ronnie Roderick Anderson born in Newark, NJ on May 6,1953. He was one of seven children born to the union of Lorraine Mickles and Ervin Anderson. Also known as Ricki, he departed this life on October 12,2022.
Ronnie was educated in Newark school system. He graduated from west side high school where he played football. He worked in fish markets, various bars and a factory making leather coats. He was very crafty and a real handyman. Anything that needed to be done around the house, Ricki got it done. His hands were used for man things but his hobby of drawing was undoubtedly incomparable.
Ronnie was a family man & Life of the Party. Ricki loved gatherings and enjoyed cooking, but not as much as eating. He could not resist dancing and he sure enough could put a smile on anyone's face he met. Ricki always found the humor even in the toughest of times. If the saying "late nights and early mornings" was a person it would be Ricki. He didn't keep up with time that way the laughter would never end. He touched so many hearts.
Ricki's legacy shall live on through: his children, Breyonnka Anderson & Theresa Simmons; his grandsons, Kysim Keith & Karter; his granddaughter, Kapri; his siblings, Larry Anderson, Irving Anderson, Douglass Anderson, Doris Hooker, Joyce Corbett, & Sylvia Anderson; cousins, Jalester Anderson, Anthony Anderson, Stephen Richardson, Michael Richardson, Deborah Anderson, Wanda Anderson & Sharon Richardson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
