Ronnie Darrell Ball, 52, of Belo, West Virginia passed peacefully in his sleep on June 28th, 2025. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Cullen and Shearell Ball of Elk Creek and one son, Gage.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn, son Tyler, and daughter Tosha Butcher, whom he considered his closest friend. Also left to honor his memory are his sisters Angie (Randy) Maynard and Jill (Mike) Preston as well as his nieces and nephew Christen Maynard, Dustin Maynard and Nikki (Ross) Hening.
Ronnie was known for his kind and open heart and need for adrenaline. Despite losing his arm in a work accident at 19, he always lived life to the fullest – skydiving, driving too fast, and keeping the roads hot on his Harley. In his downtime he loved to watch movies and would often quote Samuel L Jackson lines with a smile. Most of all Ronnie was known for his incredible story telling abilities, a family trait he mastered. No one could paint a picture quite like Ronnie Ball. Despite his life's challenges, he always managed to make the people around him smile and laugh, the legacy he will always be
known for.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Chafin Funeral Home in Delbarton, West Virginia. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
"Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children."
Ezekiel 25:17, Samuel L. Jackson, Pulp Fiction
