Ronnie Ray Caudill, age 60, of Nichols Branch, Clearfield, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home.
Born August 1, 1963, in Mt. Sterling, he was a son of the late Elwood R. Caudill and Katherine Basford Caudill.
Ronnie is survived by his son, Joshua Glen Caudill (Leslie) of Somerset; his longtime companion, Candy Marcum of Morehead; grandchildren, Ariel Johns, Katie Caudill, Dominick Caudill, Parker Hoskins, Madison Sargent, Braylon Sargent, and Kathleen Brackett; two brothers, Donnie Caudill (Barb) of Olive Hill, and Elwood Caudill, Jr. (Trina) of Morehead; one sister, Connie Caudill Bowles (Roger) of Camden, Ohio; nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends. He also leaves behind his faithful cat Ralph and ever-present dog Lulu, whom he considered family.
Ronnie was an employee of Caudill Scrap Yard for a number of years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, observing nature and "piddling" around. He loved family get-togethers, spending time with the grandchildren, and taking photos of family and friends. He also had an expansive collection of nature photographs. Ronnie will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Matt Richardson officiating. Ronnie will be laid to rest in Brown Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
