Born October 25, 1994, in Gainesville, Florida, he is the son of Rebecca Geraldine Main Sexton and the late Randy Charles McCain.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Audrie Mae Cantrell Gerhart, whom he wed December 21, 2019; five children, Karmen Layla Ann Gerhart, Ashton Lee Gerhart, Raeleigh Brooke Gerhart, Keither Clayton Brown, and Leola Sheila Mae Brown, all of Morehead, Kentucky; his mother and stepfather, Rebecca Geraldine Main Sexton and Wesley Sexton of East Palatka, Florida; one brother, Jeff Wells and Anita of Morehead; mother-in-law, Joyce Cantrell of Morehead; two brothers-in-law, Andrew Cantrell of Morehead and Jessie Cantrell of West Liberty, as well as extended family and friends.

Brandon was an employee of CSI in Morgan County, Kentucky.

Growing up, Brandon and his brother were best friends from toddlers to playing football in high school. Brandon loved his life and all it had to offer. He lived life to the fullest, capturing every moment he could. He found true love when he met Audrie and was so very happy. He loved spending time with his family and playing with his kids, especially taking them fishing. Brandon loved to cook family meals during the holidays and on special occasions. Like his dad, Brandon was an avid Florida Gators Fan. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
