Dana was predeceased by his parents, James and Virginia Angalet; a brother, David M Angalet; uncles, Harold G. Robertson, Paul R Robertson, and William M Angalet; an aunt, Mary Marie Wilson; cousins, Clara Copley Davis and Jon Robertson.
Left to cherish Dana's memory are his daughter, Courtney (Jon) Nelson of Buffalo, West Virginia; grandson, Kristofer; sisters, Stephanie Stephenson of Raleigh North Carolina, Deanne Richey of Ball Ground, Georgia; three nieces; one nephew, and a dear friend, Mike Turner of Proctorville, Ohio.
Dana graduated with degrees in Electronic Technology and Accounting. He subsequently worked for General Electric and the IRS before becoming disabled due to multiple health problems.
Dana was cremated and a private burial will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, in Morehead Kentucky.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals.
Memorial contributions may be made to The West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and Blind in Romney West Virginia.
