Ronnie was the epitome of the definition of the matriarch of her family. She lived a selfless life by always caring for others ahead of herself. Her compassion and grace were illuminated by her actions as a nurse and caretaker. Her nurturing nature was the embodiment of the beautiful soul that she was and will continue to be in our hearts. She touched the hearts of anyone who came into contact with her. Ronnie cherished and adored all her babies and had a unique and special relationship with each one of them. She always made sure the needs and wants of her husband, family and friends were met regardless of the cost. To remember her as the selfless woman that she was:
I went to be with the Lord and Heaven is like nothing I've ever seen,
It is something beyond explaining; you can't begin to imagine, think, or dream.
The Lord and I talked for awhile and we went over my life story,
How all the pieces fit together, and I marveled in the glory.
Everything made sense and I now understand His perfect plan,
"But I have a few requests Lord, if I possibly can,
Pour your love and mercy on my family Father; for I know they are hurting so
They are filled with so much grief; it's hard to see me go.
Wrap your loving arms around them and fill them with your peace,
Let them know I am always with them and never let it cease.
Talk with them about their lives and to live each day as its their last,
And to take any anger, resentment, or unforgiveness and leave it in the past.
Tell them to love one another and to treasure the simple things in life,
Like listening to music, watching the sun come up, or go down at night.
Tell them when they do these things to think of me and
How proud I am as I watch from above,
At how the world is a better place now because of their love.
Tell them to keep all of our memories tucked away deep inside,
And one day I will be here waiting, with my arms open wide."
