Ronnie is survived by the love of his life of 31 years, Debbie Jarrell; son, Ralph (Amber) Jarrell; two daughters, Shari (Toby) Hoy and Jennifer Jarrell, all of Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania; two stepsons, Doug (Ashley) Thompson of Fairmont, WV and Destrey Thompson of Windridge, PA; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Rick (Carlene) Jarrell. He is also survived by two sister in laws, Mary Jarrell, Jean Evans, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger (Turtle) Jarrell; two sisters, Peggy Ruth and Patricia Jarrell.
Ron retired from Consol with 41 years. Ron loved God, his family, friends, and church family. He enjoyed fishing, his love of new trucks, children, and animals. Ron may have had a bad heart, but he had the biggest heart of anyone. He was also a member of Viola church.
Donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place Memphis, TN 38105, or the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250, in his memory.
Friends and Family may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Scott Krepps presiding. Interment will follow at the Olive Cemetery.
