Ronnie Locklear

Mr. Ronnie "Fox" Locklear of Red Springs was born on March 26, 1954 to the late Hersley "Hoover"' and Frances Locklear and departed this life on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 completing his journey of 70 years.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife : Janie "Janice" Locklear; two brothers: Billy and Bobby Locklear.
"Fox" as he was known to all enjoyed riding his tractor and farming. In his spare time, he also enjoyed watching Nascar. Taking family trips to the mountains was also one of his favorite past times. Building a strong work ethic for his sons was also a thing that he was proud of. Spending time with his family was one of his most favorite things to do.
He is survived by his two sons: Nakuma Locklear and his wife Sharron of Red Springs and Kent Locklear and his wife Sabrina of Red Springs; a son that he raised as his own: Grayson Locklear of Red Springs; three brothers: Rev. William B. Locklear and his wife Cathy of Shannon; Ricky Locklear and his wife Samantha of Red Springs and Gene Locklear of Ocean Isle Beach; two sisters: Evelene Woriax and husband George of Red Springs as well as Phyllis Locklear and her husband Dennis of Pembroke; five grandchildren: Kelsey, Kyria, Amari, Kyndle and Kyla as well as a soon to be born great-grandchild. Fox is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
