Ronnie McCarson Obituary
Mr. McCarson was born in Greenville to the late Roger Dale McCarson and Elsie Mae Redding McCarson. He was the owner & operator of McCarson's Automotive. Ronnie was a racing enthusiast and drove his #17 race car at Greenville-Pickens Speedway for many years. He was a fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. He enjoyed watching Joel Osteen Ministries and listening to gospel music sessions.
Surviving are a daughter, Katie McCarson with husband Chris Woodie; two brothers, Ricky McCarson and Richard McCarson; a granddaughter, Liz Golibersuch; and a special young lady that he cherished, Bridget Holcombe. He was predeceased by a brother, Chris McCarson.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will begin at 1 o'clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service – Woodruff, officiated by Rev. Carey Caldwell.
