Ronnie Edward Nordan, Sr., beloved son, dad “deddy”, and papa, passed away on October 25, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Worth and Jackie Nordan.
He is survived by his daughter, Kellie Matthews and her husband, Sean; his sons, Ronnie Nordan, Jr. and Jason Nordan; and his cherished granddaughter, Blakely Nordan, who brought endless joy and laughter to his life. Ronnie was known for his stubborn streak—one that often made those around him smile just as much as it made them shake their heads. Beneath that tough exterior was a man with a big heart who never hesitated to lend a hand. While he was incredibly handy and could fix just about anything, Ronnie was best known for his plumbing trade. Over the years, there wasn’t much he couldn’t do—whether it was HVAC, electrical work, carpentry, or anything else that needed attention, he always found a way to make it right. He loved spending time with his children and granddaughter, reminiscing about his younger days, and sharing his know-how whenever someone needed advice on how to fix something.
Ronnie lived life on his own terms, and his family often joked that he had nine lives—because no matter what came his way, nothing could stop him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him, but the memories, laughter, and lessons he shared will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him best.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM-Friday, October 31, 2025 at Harnett Devotional Gardens, Dunn, NC.
