Ronald (Ronnie) E. Ragan, age 75, passed away peacefully in his sleep

Thursday Morning, October 2 at 6:08 AM.

Ronnie worked as an upholsterer and assembler for much of his early life. He attended Christian Heritage Church where he played the drums.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Ruth Ragan, brother David Ragan and Daughter-in-law Charity Ragan.

He leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Mary Ragan, his children, Charles Ragan and Joyce (John) Drinnon, his grandchildren, Latasha Drinnon, John Caleb Drinnon, Charles Ragan, Murphy Ragan, Dasmine Boston, Damian Boston, Dionna Boston,

Dashayla Boston and Darius Smith, great great grandchildren, Aravan Drinnon

and Saint Boston, as well as close friends C.E. and Grace Turner, Bill,

Frank, Tracy and Bruce Coakley.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12-1 pm at Jeffers Funeral Service downtown with funeral to follow with Pastor Bo Ragon and Bishop J.D. Drinnon officiating. Family and friends will then proceed to cemetery for interment in St. Joseph. Pallbearers will be Richard Bowman, Johnny Tate, Willie Willis, Lenny Dean, Donnie Craft, Donnie Soloman, and Caleb Drinnon.
