Ronnie Ray Severt Jr., was born on October 10, 1970, in Brawley, California. He passed away on January 7, 2024. Ronnie was a family man, an avid hunter, and always volunteered to help any community or youth group.
Ronnie was one of four children; sisters, Ronette, Ronda, and Mary. Ronnie attended schools in Brawley, eventually graduating from Calipatria High School in 1989. After high school, he enlisted in the US Army. Then ultimately returning to his hometown of Brawley.
Ronnie's greatest love were his children, Amelia, Ronnie III, Carrie, and Tayler. They were his heart.
Ronnie found a love in all things cars and had a passion for hunting and fishing. From race cars to hunting. He raced every Saturday night at Imperial Speedway with his father and later hunted every weekend with his kids, Amelia and Ronnie III. He also volunteered for many organizations. Ronnie eventually died doing what he loved.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ronette Severt.
He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Glenda Severt; sisters, Ronda Kaspar, Mary Love; children, Amelia Severt, Ronnie Ray Severt III, Carrie Severt, and Tayler Severt; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held on March 15, 2024 at 11am at Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, California. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 16, 2024 at 1pm at The Moose Lodge in Imperial, California.
