Born on January 21, 1937, in Lubbock, Texas, the only child of Otis and Ruby Stone. Ronnie passed away on September 11, 2025, at the age of 88. He married Doris Ann Welch, the love of his life, on December 23, 1953. Doris passed away November 9, 2003, forty-four days short of their 50th wedding anniversary. From this union they had four sons, Ronnie Lee, Ken, Ricky and Carl.

Ronnie was a long-haul truck driver for many years retiring from Consolidated Freight Lines.

Ronni is survived by his sons, Ronnie Lee and wife Caroline of Horizon City, TX; Ken and wife Nancy of Lubbock, TX; Ricky and wife Shirley of Gulf Shores, AL; Carl and his wife Sherice of Shallowater, TX. He has four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He also leaves behind his loving dog Precious.

Ronnie was met in Heaven by his wife Doris and his parents Otis and Ruby.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Lubbock, his nurse Chloe and the staff at Fountain Hills in Wolfforth for taking care of Ronnie in hid final months.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from six until eight o'clock in the evening at McNett Funeral Home. A service will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at two o'clock in the afternoon at McNett Funeral Home with a burial immediately
