Ronnie Wayne Yopp (Smoke) 56 of Salem VA. Formally of Franklin county VA. Went to be with the Lord after a long battle with pancreatic cancer on April 17th, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Ronnie was born June 29th, 1966 to the late Paul Sr and Joyce Yopp of Franklin county VA. He is also preceded in death by his older brother Paul Yopp Jr. (Bubby) and his granddaughter Truce Ayers. Ronnie is survived by his wife Michelle Yopp of 29 years. Daughters kati Yopp and fiance BJ belcher ( who also worked along side Ronnie), Brooke Yopp and fiance JJ Stultz, Ashley and Kali Sons Corey and April Ayers, Dustin and Arland Carroll. Sister's Brenda and Tommy Mitchell, Margaret Yopp (peanut). Brother Robert Yopp. Nieces Keesha and Travis Frith, Sherri and Brian Morris. Nephew Andy and Amy Freeman, Dustin Yopp. Ronnie also had 15 grand children along with many great nieces and nephews and special buddy Nova. Ronnie enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his truck and running heavy equipment for John King of King's hauling and excavating of Salem VA. Ronnie was a great and wonderful Husband, father, pawpaw. Visitation will be Saturday April 22nd, 2023 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home located at 62 Virginia Market Place Dr Rocky Mount, VA 24151 from 5-8 for family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren on April 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Located at 130 Doe Run Rd Rocky Mount, VA 24151.Those that are attending the memorial are asked to wear something purple. "You make me smile"
