Ronny Sheppard Obituary

Mr. Ronny Sheppard, age 69, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at his home. Born on March 23, 1956, in Thomaston, GA, he was the son of the late Candler "Buck" Sheppard and the late Lavena Benefield Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard served his country with courage, honor, and dignity in the United States Air Force. After his military service he worked as an auto body technician until his retirement. In his personal life, Mr. Sheppard was an avid Clemson football fan, enjoyed riding four-wheelers, and was a huge Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan.
Survivors include his loving children, Leigh Ann Stevens (Douglas, II), Ronny Sheppard, Jr., Dixie Lynn Woods (Steven), and his dog, Kandi, that he referred to as his favorite child; grandchildren, Douglas Stevens, III. (Abigail), Daniel Stevens (Madison), Caitlin Sheppard, Jaxon Hall, Khloe Sheppard, Alissa Bridges (Bryce), MacKenzie Woods (Will), Emily French, Gage Woods, Savannah Woods, and Ryan Woods; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Olivia, Harper, Beckham, and Miley; sisters, Janice Boggs (Eddie), and Cathy Corley (Kevin), and many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sheppard was predeceased by his brothers, Larry Sheppard, and Tommy Sheppard, and sister, Brenda Sheppard.
