Ronona Jones Hale

Ronona Hale, age 84 of Vivian, Louisiana passed away on October 30, 2023. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 3:00 p. m, at the Vivian Cemetery in Vivian, Louisiana. Officiating will be Bro. Eric Cunningham. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, Louisiana.

Ronona was born on October 10, 1939 in Doddridge, Arkansas to Alver Jones and Clara Jones. She lived in this area for most of her life. She was a beautician with her own shop in her young adult life. Ronona worked at Walmart for many years where she retired. After retirement, she loved working in her flower beds and yard. She loved spending time with her family.

Ronona is preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Hale, sisters Adine Bickerstaff, Frances Saffel and Alta Carter. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Gregg Hale of Vivian, Louisiana, Steve Hale of Texarkana, Texas and Tonya Hale of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Yvonne Henderson of Vivian, Louisiana Charles Jones of Three States, Louisiana, Donice Jones and wife Judy of Doddridge, Arkansas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Honoring Ronona as pallbearers will be Tyler Austin, David Daniels, Justin Hawkins, Butch Wynn, Bill Alego and Charlie Leer.
