We live across the street from Mr. Roosevelt´s crossing guard post and enjoyed seeing him twice a day for many years. My girls absolutely loved when he said to them, " you go girl!". The stories he told us of his grandchildren and gr. grandchildren were lovely. RIP Mr. Roosevelt, you will be missed.

It was sad to hear about my old neighbor Mr. Roosevelt, he was so friendly & kind, always enjoyed when I ran into him anywhere and we would stop and have a quick word. My condolences to the entire family, it´s not an easy journey when a loved one dies, and I am praying for peace and comfort in your time of grief.
