Rosa Maria Cavezza

Rosa Maria Cavezza, 80, of Neptune, died Friday February 11th at JSUMC surrounded by her children. She immigrated to the United States in 1969 with her husband and three young children, where she than had two more children. She worked as a streamstress for many years until she retired. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Asbury Park. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially Sunday dinners. She was predeceased by a son Salvatore Cavezza and her husband Clemente Cavezza, two brothers, Giuseppe and Santolo DeRisi., Surviving are her son Antonio Cavezza and four daughters and one son in law. Anna, Clementina and Giovannina Cavezza and Carmelina and Jason Richard. Her two sisters Philomena Siciliano and Rita Capolongo and eight grandchildren, Alexis and Antonio Cavezza, Edward, Isabella and Clementalia Gesior and Jason Jr and Alexandra Richard, Gracelynn and Rocco Richard and one great granddaughter Avery Richard. A visitation will be held at Ely Funeral Home on Thursday February 17, 2022 from 4 to 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday February 18, 2022 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church in Asbury Park, with burial immediately follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Neptune.
