It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosa Olivas Flores, who left us on the morning of February 4th, 2025. She was the cherished wife of the late Jess Flores Sr. and the devoted mother to eight children: Jess, Elbert, Abel, Dovar, Armando, Samuel, Herman, and Elizabeth.
Rosa was a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, whose love and influence extended through generations. She was also a dear sister and daughter, known for her wisdom, strength and loyalty. She was surrounded by the love of friends and family throughout her life and in her final moments.
A committed Christian and faithful member of her church, Rosa lived out her faith in this world devoted to prayer, evangelism and worship. She exemplified the scripture, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."
Rosa's legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her unwavering devotion to her family, her faith, and her community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is now enjoying the true bliss of seeing the face of her Savior, reunited with her beloved Jess, sons Herman and Dovar, grandsons Benjamin and Xavier and many other loved ones who have gone before her.
Celebration of Life to be held on Thursday, February 13th beginning with fellowship at noon and service at 12:30pm located at La Hermosa Cosecha Church Ministries, 4302 East Broadway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85040. The burial will follow at 2pm located at Rest Haven Cemetery, 4310 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85042
