Rosa Leal Lopez, 76, of Uvalde passed away on December 7, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on May 12, 1947, in Brackettville, Texas to Carolina (Sanchez) and Estevan Leal.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, Dec 17 at 2 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Dec 18 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Diana Ramon and husband, Ernesto, Belinda Arreola and husband, Jorge and Anna Lopez all of Uvalde; son, Estevan Lopez and wife, Veronica of Uvalde; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 1 great- great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Patricia Lopez Herrera and Leticia Lopez Garcia; three sisters, Felis Banda, Guadalupe flores and Mary Sanchez.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Herrera, Fernando Garcia Jr, Juan Jose Garcia, Frankie Blanco, Eric Treviño, Jorge Arreola Jr, Jesse Arreola, and Estevan Lopez Jr.
Honorable pallbearers will be Gabriel Ramon, Ernest Ramon Jr, Adrian Avila, Jorge Arreola, Sr. Fernando Garcia Sr and Ernest Ramon, Sr.
