Rosa Charlene Lyons, 87, passed away on November 4, 2025. She was born on August 8, 1938, in Peggs, Oklahoma, to the late Monroe Harvey and Clara (Chaney) Harvey.
Charlene led a rich and vibrant life filled with joy, creativity, and love. She had a passion for reading, toll painting, and deer hunting, but her greatest treasure was the time spent with her family and friends. Her warmth and kindness touched many lives, and she was known for being a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM, on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Peggs Community Church, where friends and family will gather to honor her remarkable spirit and the cherished memories she leaves behind.
Charlene is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Lyons, as well as her daughters JoAnn Lyons and Donna George, 10 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 great-granddaughters.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby (Tammy) Lyons and Ernie (Terresa) Lyons, along with her grandchildren: Crystal (William) McGarry, Jacob Neugin, Michael Walters, Phillip George, Cory (Whitney) Lyons, Kerry Lyons, Brandon Lyons, and Joseph Lyons. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, and loving friends who will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter.
As we celebrate her life, we remember the joy she brought into our lives and the beautiful moments we shared. Let us gather in love and remembrance, honoring the unforgettable soul of Rosa Charlene Lyons.
