Rosa McGaffey Obituary
Rosa Lee was a lifelong resident of La Marque. She was Co-Owner of Mac's Plumbing in La Marque; where she kept the office running and always made sure Mac stayed busy. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Galveston. Rosa Lee enjoyed trips to Hawaii and camping locally and throughout Texas with Mac, family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Louis "Mac" McGaffey, son Leslie McGaffey, daughter Colette Rene McGaffey Jenson, brothers, Willie Sebesta and Jody Sebesta and sisters; Lorene Rollish and Anita Hunt. Rosa Lee is survived by her son Mark McGaffey and wife Sheryl, her grandchildren, Tabby Wilson (Donny), Amy Whalen (Rob), Dayna Villereal (Mel), Rachel Compton (Howard) and Brandon Compton (Lucinda) and her eight grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
The McGaffey family would like to especially thank her special caregiver Joji Faulkner and care givers Holly, Sharon and Denise for the care giving to Rosa Lee.
A visitation will be on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque and Monday March 10, 2025 from 10:00am-12:00Noon with Ed Long officiating and music by Sherene Long. The graveside will follow at 12:30pm at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
Pallbearers will be David Laymance, Rob Whalen, Brandon Compton, Aiden Wilson, Noah Jenkins and Bailey Jenkins.
