She was a proud resident of Enfield, CT where she met her husband and raised her family. Rosa gave so much of herself to those she loved and was a constant presence to anyone in
need of her support and assistance. Rosa had a courageous battle with COPD and is finally at rest.
Rosa joins her parents Andres and Ramona, and her beloved children Fernando and Rosita in Heaven. She is survived by her husband Fernando Ortiz, her daughter Luz Galarza, as
well as her cherished siblings Margarita, Carlos, Myrta and Milagros. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren: Ada, Natasha, Jasime, Isabella, Ariana, Noah, Fiorentina, Frankie Dominic and Sheila.
She is survived by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and long-time friends. She will be forever loved and forever remembered. Our family is grateful to know that Rosa is finally at peace.
Services will be held at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels on Thursday September 28, 2023 at 1:00pm, calling hours are prior to the service from 11:00 to 1:00pm. Burial will follow in St.
Patrick's King St. Cemetery.
Exodus 23:20 "See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared."
