Rosa Ortiz Obituary
She was born July 4, 1952, in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Agustin and Maria Teresa (Lucero) Saenz. Rosa married Arturo Garcia Ortiz on November 7, 1988, in El Paso, Texas.
Rosa is survived her husband, Arturo of Peoria; sons, David, Pablo and Rodolfo Ortiz, all of Peoria; grandchildren, Nicolas Allen, Pablo Jose, Aviva Marie, Julian Iquacio Leobardo and Dariella Rosalee; two step-daughters and two stepsons; 11 step-grandchildren; and special friends, the Bash family of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Armando Saenz.
Rosa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2025, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Following services, cremation rites will be accorded. Inurnment of cremains will take place at a later date in Mexico.
