Con el corazón lleno de pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Rosa Isela Ozul Saldaña, una madre y amiga querida. Nacida el 18 de febrero de 1970 en Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, la vida de Rosa se definió por su inquebrantable calidez, resiliencia y devoción a su familia.
Fallecio el 13 de agosto de 2025, a la edad de 55 años en el Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance en Edinburg, TX.
Le preceden en la muerte sus padres, José Ángel Ozul y Rosa Idalia Saldaña; su esposo, Joel Durán Aguilar y un hijo, Jose Roberto Duran Ozul.
Rosa es sobrevivida por 2 hijos, Joel Durán Ozul, Ángel Pablo Durán Ozul; una hija, Guadalupe Lizeth Durán Ozul; un hermano, José Juan Ozul Saldaña; tres hermanas, Idalia Irazema Ozul Saldaña, Cristina Guadalupe Ozul Saldaña y Norma Yesenia Ozul Saldaña. También le sobreviven ocho nietos.
La risa de Rosa, su dedicación a su familia y su notable capacidad para unir a las personas serán muy extrañadas. Su familia invita a aquellos que conocieron y amaron a Rosa a unirse para honrar su vida.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 15 de agosto de 2025 de 5:00 PM a 9:00 PM en la Casa Funeraria Salinas de Elsa - Capilla de los Cielos, con un Rosario a las 6:00 PM.
Después de una despedida conmovedora, los restos de Rosa serán cremados en Val Verde Memorial Gardens en Donna, TX.
Rosa Isela Ozul Saldana deja una huella indeleble en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Que su alma suave descanse en paz mientras celebramos su vida y atesoramos nuestros recuerdos de su amor.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rosa Isela Ozul Saldana, a beloved mother, and friend. Born on February 18, 1970, in Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, Rosa's life was defined by her unwavering warmth, resilience, and devotion to her family. She left this world on August 13, 2025, at the age of 55 at Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Angel Ozul & Rosa Idalia Saldaña; her husband, Joel Duran Aguilar.
Rosa is survived by 2 sons, Joel Duran Ozul, Angel Pablo Duran Ozul; one daughter, Guadalupe Lizeth Duran Ozul; one brother, Jose Juan Ozul Saldaña; three sisters, Idalia Irazema Ozul Saldaña, Cristina Guadalupe Ozul Saldaña & Norma Yesenia Ozul Saldaña. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.
Rosa's laughter, her dedication to her family and her remarkable ability to bring people together will be dearly missed.
Her family invites those who knew and loved Rosa to come together to honor her life. A visitation will be held Friday, August 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa - Chapel of The Heavnes with a 6:00 PM Rosary.
After a heartfelt farewell, Rosa's remains will be cremated at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, TX.
Rosa Isela Ozul Saldana leaves an indelible imprint on all who had the privilege to know her. May her gentle soul rest in peace as we celebrate her life and cherish our memories of her love.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
