Rosa was born May 17, 1961 in Sinton, Texas to Macaria (Sanchez) and Manuel Davila Delagarza. She lived most of her life in Sinton, Texas but formerly lived in Corpus Christi, Texas. Rosa was an office administrator for Faith and Family Counseling Services in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years: Richard Ueckert; parents: Manuel and Macaria Delagarza; brother: Joe Delagarza
Survivors include her son: Ryan Ueckert (Amanda) from Corpus Christi, Texas; 3 grandchildren: Kaleigh Ueckert, Kaleb Ueckert, and Kaelin Ueckert; sisters: Stella Contreras from Sinton, Texas, Odilia Chavez (Ralph) from Harlingen, Texas, Diana DeLeon (Henry) from Sinton, Texas, Norma Navarro (Ray) from Dripping Springs, Texas, Ninfa Ortiz (Arnulfo) from Conroe, Texas, Sylvia Luckey and Mary Ann Tijerina (Frankie) both from Sinton, Texas; aunt: Aurora Rodriguez from Sinton, Texas; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will begin Thursday, January 11, 2024, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be the same evening, 6:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 12, 2024, 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Sinton, Texas. Burial will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton, Texas.
Pallbearers: Randy Gauna, Roger Contreras, Aaron Ortiz, David Garcia, Artie Rodriguez, Jr. and Kyle Luckey.

I will always remember Rosa and all the DeLa Garza sisters. They took such wonderful care of my son, James, when he was a baby. My heart hurts for their loss and pray that they find comfort knowing Rosa is resting in eternal paradise. God rest your soul, Rosa. You will always have a place on my heart.
