Alice Ueckert Obituary

Alice was born to Oscar and Evelyn Hatch on July 21st, 1934, in Otis, a small town in eastern Colorado, and passed away on September 13th, 2025, in the home of her daughter and son-in-law. The fourth of seven children, Alice spent her childhood in Otis and the surrounding area until the family moved to Denver, where Alice graduated from Lakewood High School.
She met and married James (Buddy) Ueckert on January 29th, 1934, while he was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base during his service. They had 3 children, Rozanna, Ted, and Cindy. Alice worked at Wards for several years. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family and lived her life devoted to them.
She was reunited in death with her father Oscar Hatch, mother Evelyn Hatch, husband James William Ueckert (Buddy), son Ted James Ueckert, daughter Rozanna Marie Combs, 3 brothers, Emery James, Roy Ivan, and Glen Arthur Hatch, 2 sisters Ruth Ellen Garson and Lillian Evelyn Hatch, 1 grandson Christopher James Ueckert Spicer, and best friends Gary and Virginia.
She is survived by 1 brother, Danny Hatch, 1 daughter, Cindy Ray, 4 Granddaughters, Becky Ray, Julie Ray, Candace Miller, and Niki Antonopoulos, 4 great-grandsons, Ronin Miller, Madexx Greer, Jaxon Strange, and Kayden Spicer. 7 great granddaughters, Darian Drake, (little) Nikki Atonopoulos, Bailey Combs, Ayla Martinez, Khloe Greer, Lexi Strange, and Joelle Miller, and 1 great great grandson, Rowdy Jonseck.
Services will be held at Fairmount Cemetery:
430 South Quebec St.
Denver, CO 80247
Viewing will be Tuesday, September 23rd at noon, service at 1:00 p.m., with interment to follow.
A reception will follow the interment at the home of her daughter Cindy:
14400 E. 134th Ave.
Brighton, CO. 80601
