Cumberland, MD-Rosalee Ann (Wolfe) Steele, 79, of Cumberland, MD passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Mountain City Rehab Center, Frostburg, MD.

Rosalee was born April 13, 1946 in Cumberland, MD and grew up in Oldtown, MD. She was the daughter of the late Floyd George Wolfe and Margaret Mae (Benson) Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband: Ronald Martin Steele, Sr.; a brother: Edward Howard Wolfe and wife Patricia; and a sister: Georgia Mae Martin and husband Aloysius.

Rosalee was a graduate of Oldtown High School in 1964 and was retired from the State of Maryland. She was a devout Christian who graduated from Scarritt College for Christian Workers in Tennessee, where she studied to be a missionary. In her younger years, she loved being a leader with the Good News Club and also enjoyed drawing and sharing her creations with family and friends. She was a long time member of Highland Baptist Church.

Rosalee is survived by her sisters: Maryjune Mieszkowski; and her youngest sister: Gloria "Sandi" Wolfe; her brother: Captain (USAF Ret.) Sonny Wolfe and wife Brenda; along with numerous nieces and nephews and Ron's children.

Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD (www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com) on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Charles Riggleman officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mt. City Rehab Center for their wonderful care, love, compassion, and support.
