Rosalie E. Aragon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of San Luis resident Rosalie Evangline Aragon, who departed this life on November 28, 2024 at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Rosalie was welcomed into the world on November 24, 1944 to the late Zacharias Vigil and Dolores (Gonzalez) Vigil. She was blessed with two children that meant the world to her. Rosalie enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her grandchildren and family. She also loved the time she spent in the mountains. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on through her children: Jessica (Leon) DeHerrera of San Luis, CO, Thomas (Ruby) Aragon also of San Luis, CO. Three grandchildren: Brittany Lobato (Lenny Garcia), Alejandro Lobato (Maria Vigil), Dakota Aragon; four great grandchildren: Alazay Sanchez, Lenny Garcia, Daniel Garcia, and Bryan Garcia. She is preceded in death by her parents Zacharias and Dolores Vigil, grandson Dominic Lobato, sister Cleo Gonzalez, and brother Modesto Vigil.
