Rosalie Grasso Mills Obituary
She was Miss Rosa and MawMaw to everyone she met. She opened her heart and her home to anyone in need. She always gave freely and joyfully. She often said "I came into this world with nothing, and that's how I intend to go out".
She was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Mary Scalise Grasso; son, James J. Betts; brother, Philip Grasso; sisters, Josie Harris, Myrtle Grasso, Alice Cusimano, Annie Grasso, Mary Savoi, Martina Grasso, and Myrtle Porter; grandson, Bryan Strother.
She is survived by her husband, Billy D. Mills; step daughter, Carol Strother; son, Billy Mills II and Melissa Bunyard; daughter, Brenda Mills; special daughters, Kim Wiggins and Tracy Clifford; sister, Camille Manzella; brother, Basil Grasso; brother in law, Calvin Mills; sister in laws, Margie Swan and Dorothy Foller; grandchildren, Eric Strother, James Betts, Michael Mills, James Mills, Darren Rich II, Dagan Mills, Rusty Arcieri, and Mason Mills; honorary grandsons, Brad Barr and Kevin Arcieri Jr.; granddaughters, Madison Mills and Audrey Weaver; 13 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Heartfelt thanks to nephews, Bobby and Karyn "our duct tape" Crafton, Todd and Lori Crafton, and MawMaw's girl Nicky Chandler Bailey.
Our sunshine hasn't left us, she is just shining higher and brighter. Her memory will brighten all the days of our lives.
Visitation for Rosalie will be held Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Rosary starting 6:00PM at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be on Friday, November 3, 2023 beginning at 1:30 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Conroe, Texas. Following the mass, graveside service will be in Garden Park Cemetery, in Conroe, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael Mills, James Mills, Darren Rich, Rusty Arcieri, Mason Mills and Jacob Guillot.

She was a wonderful lady and will always be remembered. I could have sat for hours listening to her stories of her life and family. You all have my deepest sympathies.
