Rosalie M. Hansen

Rosalie Marie Hansen, age 89, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at Country Friends Assisted Living, where she has resided for the last nine years. She was born on August 27, 1936, in Porter Township, Midland County, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Edwards) Risley.

Rosalie worked for many years as a caregiver for home health patients. She also spent time working as a foster grandma for Farwell schools. Rosalie attended Gilmore Church of Christ.

She was a member of the Red Hatters and enjoyed playing Bingo and making crafts. She also enjoyed listening to music and attending Jamborees.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Knorr; loving companion of many years Ralph Crawford; daughters Karrol Cowdrey, Erma Thomas; great-grandson Dayton Cowdrey; her parents Henry and Mary; and siblings Lyle Risley and Charlotte Harrington.

She is survived by her children Paul Knorr, Gayla Pickens; foster daughter Phyllis Wilson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a special niece Rita.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11 am at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge. A gathering will follow at the St. Louis Moose Lodge.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Country Friends, Home Care Team/Hospice and Region 7 for the loving care they gave Rosalie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lux and Whiting Funeral Chapel, Breckenridge.
