Rosalie Leonard

Rosalie (Baker) Leonard 88, of Troutman, NC and formerly of Apple Grove, WV passed away on September 15, 2025 at her home. Rosalie was born on April 29, 1937 to the late Roy Dallas Baker and Rhoda McClellan Baker in Ranger, WV. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of just a couple months ago, James Leonard; and her siblings: Lou McComas, Jack Baker, Perry Baker, Mark Baker, and Benjamin Franklin Baker. She was a member of Mt. Union Church in Fraziers Bottom, WV and worked at Honaker Photo Lab. Rosalie is survived by sons: James R. (Michelle) Leonard, Stephen R. Leonard all of Troutman, NC and Roy D. (Barbie) Leonard of Apple Grove, WV; grandchildren: Trenton (Jill) and Alisha both of Apple Grove, WV, Ashley (Daniel) and Alex (Jessica), step-grandchildren: Aaron and Jennifer (Brandon) all of NC; great-grandchildren: Ethan, Eve, Asher, Caroline and Elora; step-great grandchildren: Liam, Lyndon, Raeanne and Roux; as well as siblings: Mildred (Vernon) Facemyer, Betty Walden, Violet (Bill) Wooldridge, Linda Hester, Tommy Baker, Rusty Baker, Rocky Baker, and Ernest Butcher; also many other family members. Funeral Service for Rosalie will be 3:00pm Saturday Sept. 20 2025 at Mt. Union Church 19268 Jerry's Run Road Fraziers Bottom, WV with Pastor John Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Union Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to the service at the church.
