Rosalie A. O'Connell

Rosalie A. O'Connell, 84 of Durham NH, passed away peacefully on November,11, 2025 surrounded by her loving son and daughter, after a long battle with progressive dementia.
Rosalie was born in Chelsea, MA on July 4, 1941, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Murphy) Kevlik.
Rosalie met and married Paul O'Connell, both of Derry, NH, and moved to Londonderry NH to raise their two children. They moved to Deerfield NH where Rosalie began her love of quilting and joined the Deerfield Quilting Club, designing, quilting and making numerous beautiful works for her family. Upon Paul's retirement they moved to Wolfeboro, NH, where Rosalie continued her love of quilting, joining the Lady of Lakes Quilting Guild. She loved animals, cooking and shopping but Rosalie's greatest love in life was her family. Rosalie was happiest when she was surrounded by her family.
Rosalie is survived by her two children, Renee Perreault (Jody) and Shawn O'Connell-Kliska (Duke), two grandchildren, Patrick Lindley and Jessica Goldthwaite, two great-grandsons, Cooper and Cole Goldthwaite and sister, Lisa Preston. She was predeceased by her husband Paul J. O'Connell in 2015, a sister Elaine Patnaude and brothers, James Kevlik and Jan Kevlik.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Harmony Homes by the Bay and Unity Hospice, Durham, NH for their compassionate care.
A family graveside service will be held at a later date. Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry is assisting the family with arrangements.
