Rosalie Ann Pandure ObituaryRosalie Ann Pandure-Evans
Rosalie passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Rosalie was strong-minded and lived the way she always did, independent on her own terms and wanted help from no one. Rosalie loved to be social, loved people watching and loved a great joke. She always enjoyed having her loved ones around, sharing a movie or a soap opera. She treasured her life and time in Melbourne, Florida.
Rosalie was the youngest daughter of Peter and Rose Resola. She had 6 sisters and one brother. Her parents worked hard and put food on the table for whoever walked through the door, not only their family.
Rosalie was fortunate to have found two great loves in her life. She married Joseph Pandure on January 10, 1954. By 1970, they built their dream home on Ocean Avenue Beach in Long Branch, now called Seven Presidents. Later they moved to Pennsylvania and lived there for 10 years on 80 acres with a few dozen animals, living off the land and organic before it was a thing. This was all done while raising their three youngest children.
At the age of 50, she decided to own a restaurant before returning back to her roots in New Jersey.
Rosalie moved to Melbourne in 2000, where she married husband, Bob Evans. There, they created a beautiful home together where they entertained their friends and family. They loved their dear friends, Marie and Frank whom they considered family. Rosalie had many happy years there in Melbourne but decided to move closer to family last November.
Rosalie was reunited with all those loved and lost before her: husband, Joseph Pandure; husband, Bob Evans; son, Salvatore Pandure; daughter-in-law, Wanda Pandure; her parents, Peter and Rose Resola; her sisters, Josephine Camagna, Viola Ventress, Frances Reid, Elvera Breen, Carmella DeRogatis and brother, Frank Resola.
Rosalie leaves behind her greatest treasures and the people she loved unconditionally: her sole surviving sister, Ann Acerra, 104; daughter, Roxanne Schechter and her husband Jan, and their two sons, Matt Schechter and wife Amy and Stephen Schechter and wife Jessica; son, Joseph Pandure; son Jamie Pandure; daughter, Denise Pandure and fiancé Mike Parson and Denise's daughter, Samantha Rosalie Bennett-Sorto, and her husband Alex Sorto.;the most amazing great-grandchildren: Alessandra Schechter, Capri Schechter, Sebastian, Selma Rosalie, and Salvador Sorto. Without forgetting to mention her beloved niece, Dolores Basile, who provided care and companionship.
There will be a Mass to be offered at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank, New Jersey on Saturday, November 15th at 10am. Following is a Celebration of Life on June 3, 2026. Rosalie has left us missing her feisty personality and fond memories of her. For condolences please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
