Rosalie Rabuck, age 93, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 3:24 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at her home.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held 2:00 to 3:00 PM – Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM – Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, 11333 West 111th Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois. Rosalie was born on June 5, 1931, in Chelsea, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carl Walter and Elsie Ellen (Donaldson) Brown. She married Marvin Rabuck on October 18, 1952, and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1996.
Rosalie retired from Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, Illinois, after 20 years of service. She enjoyed going dancing.
Rosalie is survived by:
Children – Kay Bronakowski of Yuma, Arizona; Gary Rabuck of Chicago Heights, Illinois; Gene Rabuck of Iola, Illinois; Tom Rabuck of Tinley Park, Illinois; Marie McGuire of Yuma, Arizona; and Helen Rabuck of Newton, Illinois
17 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great Grandchildren
Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Debra Bieker, brother Carl Brown, and a sister Barbara Shoemaker.
