Rosalind Buggs

Rosalind Buggs was born on 02/09/1964 in Baltimore, Maryland, to her parents, Janie Mae Boyd and James Edward Boyd. She later moved to Rochester, New York, where she graduated from Jefferson High School. Rosalind went on to earn an associate degree in business management and accounting. She possessed strong financial skills and was formidable with numbers.
Rosalind was married to Leroy Buggs, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared a daughter, Janaye Buggs. She was also the loving mother of an older daughter, Monique Boyd. Rosalind was a proud grandmother to her two grandsons, Sincere Riley and Karmello Wyatt.
She is survived by her two sisters, Janice Boyd and Lillian Boyd, and her two brothers, James Boyd and Christopher Goff. Rosalind shared close bonds with her nieces and nephews, including Janice Samuels-Starkes (Dez Starkes), Sonny Elliott, Amber Boyd, Denzel Boyd, Sarah Boyd, and Megan Boyd. She also cherished many other nieces, nephews, and extended family members whom she loved dearly.
Rosalind was a very industrious worker who took pride in her abilities. She loved spending time with her family, had a playful spirit, and laughed often. In her free time, she enjoyed visiting the casino and having fun. She found joy in baking cakes for her loved ones and treasured opportunities to travel and visit family near and far.
She also spent meaningful time with her cousins, Prudence Martin, Theresa Ferguson, and Lori Fulton, creating memories that will be fondly remembered.
