ROSALIND VANN, age 63, of York, Alabama was born to the late Thomas and Sebell Eades Vann, Sr. and peacefully transitioned at her residence on December 9, 2024. Service of Remembrance and Life Celebration is slated for Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Living Word Church, located 1408 AL 28, Livingston, Alabama 35470. Rosalind will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time. Rev. Byron Franklin, pastor will deliver the eulogy, offering words of comfort and consolation. Interment follows in Cagus Cemetery, Kinterbish 10, Cuba, Alabama. Visitation for family and friends is scheduled Tuesday evening, (Dec. 17th) from 2-5:00 p.m. in the Weatherly Chapel. On Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 pm the processional will leave with escort service from Weatherly Funeral Home heading to Living Word .
Rosalind is survived by her devoted son: Roderick Vann; grandson, Michael Vann Warren; brothers - Thomas Vann, Jr. and Gregory Vann, Sr; many other relatives, friends, classmates, co-workers, her community and church family. They will forever cherish fond memories. Those who have preceded her in death are: her parents, Thomas and Sebell Vann, Sr., her daughter, LaTarsha Vann and her brother Myron Vann.
