Rosann Elaine Truelson, the daughter of Aaron and Elaine (Holdren) Kleiber was born December 3, 1948 in Emmetsburg, IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Emmetsburg area, where she attended school and graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 1967.
Rosann worked at Berkley’s in Emmetsburg. She married Andrew Truelson on March 12, 1971 in Emmetsburg, IA. They moved to Laurens, IA where she did childcare. They moved to Spencer, IA in 1977, where she worked at Ruthven Care Center as a Cook until her retirement in 2010. Rosann enjoyed cross stitching, drawing, cooking decorating for holidays and especially spending time with family.
Rosann passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Mike Kleiber.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Andrew of Spencer, IA; 2 children, Angie (Glen Menssen) Jewell of Ruthven, IA and Andrew (Alice Smith) Truelson of Carbondale, KS; 8 grandchildren, Samantha (Vince) Kaaret, Brittany (Gabe Bishop) Jewell, Allie (Dalten Moen) Menssen, Josh (Katie Flannegan) Menssen, Ashli (Brandon) Morett, Taylor Ostrander, Jacob Ostrander, and Olivia Truelson; 6 great-grandchildren, Addison, Ryker, Paisley, Asher, Aiden, and Indiana; one brother, Aaron Kleiber of Austin, TX; nieces; nephews; her cat and best friend JACK; other relatives; and many friends.
