Rosanna Miele Reid

Rosanna was born on April 18, 1970, in Mount Vernon, NY to Elio and Josephine Miele. Rosanna Miele Reid was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and friend. After a courageous one-year battle with cancer, Rosanna peacefully passed away on October 28, 2023, while under the care of her compassionate cousin Melody Rosamilia and other staff members at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Rosanna's impact on those around her cannot be adequately described. She leaves behind a legacy as a devoted follower of Christ, known for her humility, appreciation, and kindness. Her family and friends will forever carry a part of Rosanna Miele Reid in their hearts.
Having graduated with two degrees in Special Education, Rosanna began her career at Concord Road Elementary School in Ardsley, NY. Growing up together in the same church she met her loving husband, Norman Dwight Reid. After many years of friendship, the Lord brought them together and they were married in 2005. They have built a beautiful life and family.
Rosanna is predeceased by her father, Elio Miele, and is survived by her husband Norman Dwight Reid, and leaves behind her cherished children Charles Brody, Connor Alexander, and Cooper Jones Reid. Rosanna is also survived by her brother John and his wife Amy Miele, niece Elizabeth Grace Miele (James Ortale), nephew Nicholas John Miele, and her mother Josephine Miele. Rosanna's presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we find solace in the belief that one day we will be reunited with her.
Rosanna's unwavering love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of her life. She will always be remembered for the immense love and compassion she shared with her friends and family. If you had the privilege of knowing Rosanna, you knew that she genuinely loved each and every person she encountered. Her strength, dignity, and profound love for those around her were truly remarkable.
Rosanna Miele Reid will be honored at a wake and service at Reach Church located at 294 Old Mamaroneck Rd, White Plains, NY 10605 on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A celebration of life service will follow on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Reach Church. Interment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
