Rosaria "Rose" Tarbi Gifford, a lifelong resident of East Boston, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 73 years old.

Born on August 22, 1952, Rose was the cherished daughter of Salvatore and Edith Tarbi. She was the beloved wife of the late Randall Gifford and the devoted mother of the late Maranda Gifford. Rose is survived by her dear sister, Charlene Tarbi Farley, and her husband Greg, as well as her two adoring grandsons who brought her endless joy.

Rose's heart was as big as her smile. She was kind, selfless, and compassionate, always putting the needs of others before her own. She welcomed people into her home, helped those who had no one else, and gave generously to the homeless and those in need. She lived her life with a spirit of love and service, touching countless lives with her warmth and generosity.

A successful businesswoman, Rose proudly owned and operated Crack and Crevice Cleaning Company. Beyond her work, she was a loyal friend to many. Her lifelong best friend, Lorraine Orlando, was cherished like a bonus sister, and together they shared countless memories and laughter.

Family and friends will honor Rose's life with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph – St. Lazarus Church in East Boston. Services will conclude with Rose being laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

Rose will be remembered for her good heart, incredible spirit, and unwavering kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and generosity that will never be forgotten.
